JO1 OATH-TAKING CEREMONY & MANDATORY BRIEFINGS

ATTENTION ALL QUALIFIED JO1 APPLICANTS:

Below is the official list of Jail Officer 1 (JO1) applicants who have successfully navigated and passed all successive stages of the recruitment selection process. Having met all institutional standards, the individuals listed below are hereby cleared to proceed to the final briefings, mandatory rehearsals, and the formal Oath-Taking Ceremony.

Please be guided by the strict timeline, venue details, and directives outlined below.

SCHEDULE OF MANDATORY ACTIVITIES

1. DAY 1: MANDATORY PRACTICE & REHEARSAL

Date: July 15, 2026 (Wednesday)
Time: 1:00 PM (Strict punctuality is required)
Venue: BJMP Regional Office VI
Purpose: Finalization of ceremony mechanics, physical positioning, and protocol walkthroughs. Attendance is absolute and non-negotiable.

2. DAY 2: OFFICIAL OATH-TAKING CEREMONY

Date: July 16, 2026 (Thursday)
Mandatory Reporting Time: 7:00 AM Sharp (For the final pre-ceremony walkthrough and critical administrative briefings)
Official Ceremony Commencement: 10:00 AM
Venue: Buntatala Uswag Gym, Landheights III Phase II, Brgy. Buntatala, Jaro, Iloilo City

PRESCRIBED ATTIRE & GROOMING STANDARDS

All incoming personnel must present themselves in the strict uniform code specified below.

Top: Plain white round-neck T-shirt (clean, pressed, and without any visible logos or markings).
Bottom: Standard blue maong/denim pants (straight cut; strictly no ripped, distressed, or skinny jeans).
Footwear: Plain white rubber shoes paired with plain white socks.
Belt: Standard black belt equipped with a silver skeleton buckle.

Grooming

Haircut: Must adhere to strict regulatory military/bureau haircut standards (neatly faded, clean, and off the collar).
Accessories: Absolutely no jewelry, wristbands, or unnecessary accessories are permitted, with the sole exception of a basic wristwatch for timekeeping.

NOTE: Please check the attached roster carefully to verify your name. Treat this final phase with the utmost discipline and professionalism befitting an incoming member of the Bureau.

Weekly Values Restoration Program

The Culasi District Jail Personnel, under the supervision of JINSP MARICHU F SERVIDAD, Acting Jail Warden, conducted a Weekly Values Restoration Program for personnel. The session focused on the value "Sustainability."

Through the active participation and discussion of the personnel, they learned that sustainability in the workplace means using resources wisely, avoiding waste, keeping the workplace clean and organized, and helping one another maintain a safe and healthy working environment. They also realized that simple actions, such as saving electricity, reducing paper use, and properly disposing of waste, can make a big difference.

The activity ended with the personnel committing to practice these simple habits every day and to help create a better and more responsible workplace.

LOOK | Joint Greyhound Operation and Random Drug Testing Conducted

Earlier this morning, July 8, 2026, Culasi District Jail personnel under the supervision of JINSP MARICHU F SERVIDAD, Acting Jail Warden, conducted a joint greyhound operation with personnel from the Culasi Municipal Police Station. The operation resulted in the confiscation of no illegal contraband, affirming the facility's strict security measures.

Following the greyhound operation, the Unit Jail Nurse conducted a random drug test among the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), which yielded negative results for all those tested.

These activities reflect the unwavering commitment of the Culasi District Jail to maintaining a secure, orderly, and drug-free facility through the consistent implementation of security measures and programs that promote discipline, safety, and the welfare of all Person Deprived of Liberty.

LOOK | DSWD Regional Field Office VI Distributed Hygiene Kits and Food Packs to PDL

On July 7, 2026, personnel from the DSWD Regional Field Office VI distributed hygiene kits and food packs to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of Culasi District Jail under the supervision of JINSP MARICHU F SERVIDAD, Acting Jail Warden. The activity aimed to support the health, hygiene, and overall well-being of the PDL through the provision of essential hygiene kits and food packs.

The Culasi District Jail expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the DSWD Regional Field Office VI for choosing the facility as one of the beneficiaries of this meaningful program.
