PRIDE OF PAGANGAN 💪

Pinuri ng Midsayap Municipal Police Station si 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥, isang tricycle driver, dahil sa kanyang kahanga-hangang katapatan at integridad.

Bandang alas-3:15 ng hapon, ibinalik ni G. Nawal ang isang pitakang naiwan ng kanyang pasahero. Ang pitaka ay naglalaman ng mga mahahalagang ID at perang nagkakahalaga ng P17,000.

Ayon sa pulisya, isang inspirasyon si G. Nawal hindi lamang sa kapwa niya drayber kundi sa buong komunidad. Patunay umano ito na sa kabila ng hamon ng buhay, nangingibabaw pa rin ang kabutihan at pagiging tapat ng mga Pilipino.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A student from Southern Christian College (SCC) has been hailed as champion in the Research Presentation during the National Midyear Convention 2025 of the Philippine Association for Campus School Advisers (PACSA, Inc.).

Mr. Laurence Calasara, a fourth-year student from the College of Teacher Education (CTE), attended the event held at Big 8 Hotel in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, on April 2-4, 2025.

His research, titled “Program-Based Learning Approach in Enhancing Eco-Literacy of Junior High School Students,” also earned the award for Best Abstract, and he was recognized as the Best Research Presenter.

“At first, I didn’t think this research would excel again, but now it has reached a national level and clinched first place,” he stated.

He added, “I never expected this result, especially given that there were many exceptional research projects from colleges and universities across the Philippines.”

It is worth noting that Mr. Calasara also presented his research during an international conference in Iloilo City.

Overall, the PACSA National Midyear Convention was attended by representatives from 100 colleges and universities, and Mr. Calasara rose to the top, proving that SCC produces globally competent and research-capable students.
