𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Pursuant to the Bangsamoro Holidays Act (BAA No. 39), the entire Bangsamoro region will observe the following holidays from May 26 to 28, 2026:

• May 26 (Tuesday): Day of Arafah (Special Non-Working Holiday)

• May 27 (Wednesday): Eid’l Adha (Regular Non-Working Holiday)

• May 28 (Thursday): 1st Day of Tashriq (Special Non-Working Holiday)

Please note that May 25 (Monday) remains a regular working day for all offices. Additionally, for offices on a Four-Day Compressed Workweek (Monday–Thursday), since Friday is already your regular rest day, your long weekend will effectively extend from Tuesday, May 26, all the way until Sunday, May 31, 2026.

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺; 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗗𝗨 𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿

BARMM Finance Minister Ubaida C. Pacasem returned to Notre Dame University (NDU) as Baccalaureate Speaker today, April 21, 2026, at the NDU Gymnasium, where he shared reflections drawn from his own college journey.

He opened with a memory from his 2012 graduation in the same venue. “I was seated on the opposite side… quietly wondering how long the speech would be,” Pacasem said. “Now, I find myself standing at this podium.”

The minister highlighted the people behind every success. “Each one of us here is the sum of many lives that have touched our own,” he said. “Someone believed in us, supported us, and shaped our values.”

He gave special recognition to his parents. “If I have learned anything of perseverance and purpose, I learned it first from them,” he said. “Whatever good I may have become… I owe to them.”

Adding humor, Pacasem joked about being a professor. “I could have been one of those who would say, ‘Get one whole sheet of paper,’ for a surprise quiz,” he said. “But thankfully, that was not the case.”

He then turned serious, pointing out the realities of life beyond school. “…sa classroom, lesson muna bago ang test. Sa realidad ng buhay, madalas mauna ang test bago ang lesson,” he said.

“Adulting is real,” he added. “No one can live your life for you. But no one can stop you from making it meaningful.”

Quoting his mother, he ended with a message of hope. “The journey of life brings both challenges and chances,” he said. “May you carry the spirit to sn**ch the chances and beat the challenges.”

𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀; 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Cotabato City Chapter, in partnership with the PICPA Southern Mindanao Region and the Mindanao Geographical Area Office (MGAO), held its Government Sector Summit on April 13, 2026.

Finance Minister Ubaida C. Pacasem, PICPA Regional Sectoral Director for Government, delivered a message framing the realities faced by public servants, especially those in finance and administration.

“Too often, the shortcomings of a few cast a shadow over the many who continue to serve with honesty and competence,” Pacasem said.

He stressed that such perceptions make it harder for dedicated government workers to uphold integrity and resist unfair stigma.

Minister Pacasem also emphasized the often unseen role of finance professionals in governance.

“What many people do not fully see is that much of the real work that enables public service begins from the desks of accountants, finance officers, budget personnel, and administrative professionals,” he added.

He further highlighted the need to recognize and value those who ensure accountability behind the scenes.

The event carried the theme ‘Action with Impact: Driving Accountability, Inspiring Change’.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi taala wa barakatuh.

Maligayang pagbati sa Iranon Provincial Hospital sa inyong ika-apat na anibersaryo!

Bilang isang Iranon at principal author ng Bangsamoro Autonomy Act 73 na naglayong itaas ang antas ng Iranon District Hospital upang maging Iranon Provincial Hospital, layunin kong higit pang mapalawak at mapahusay ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong pangkalusugan sa ating komunidad.

Mula sa isang 70-bed district hospital, ito ay pinalawak at ginawang 200-bed provincial facility, isang malaking hakbang upang mas maraming pasyente ang mabigyan ng de-kalidad, maagap, at komprehensibong serbisyong medikal.

Ang pagpapataas ng antas ng ating ospital ay hindi lamang usapin ng imprastruktura, kundi isang konkretong pagtugon sa lumalaking pangangailangan sa kalusugan ng mamamayan.

Sa loob ng apat na taon, patuloy ninyong ipinakita ang tunay na diwa ng paglilingkod para sa komunidad. Ang Iranon Provincial Hospital ay nagsilbi at patuloy pang magsisilbing sagisag ng pagmamalasakit ng pamahalaan para sa Bangsamoro.

Mula sa inyong mga unang taon bilang district hospital hanggang sa inyong kasalukuyang katayuan bilang provincial hospital, malinaw na ang inyong institusyon ay naging mahalagang haligi ng pag-asa at malasakit.

Sa pagdiriwang na ito, mainam na balikan ang makabuluhang paglalakbay ng inyong ospital, sapagkat dito makikita na ang lahat ng inyong narating ay bunga ng sama-samang pagsisikap at pagtutulungan ng lahat ng naging bahagi ng inyong paglago.

Ang tagumpay ng ospital na ito ay tagumpay rin ng bawat mamamayang nabigyan ng lunas at tulong medikal. Ito rin ay tagumpay ng bawat doktor, nars, healthcare worker, kawani, at ng lahat ng bumubuo sa Iranon Provincial Hospital na araw-araw ay nagsasakripisyo upang maihatid ang serbisyong nararapat para sa sambayanan.

Saludo po ako sa inyong dedikasyon sa pagsasakatuparan ng inyong misyon. Ang inyong walang sawang paglilingkod, lalo na sa gitna ng iba’t ibang hamon, ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa amin at nagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng serbisyong tunay na may puso at malasakit para sa Bangsamoro.

Muli, taos-puso kong binabati ang Iranon Provincial Hospital, sa pamumuno ni Dr. Harris D. Macapeges, sa inyong ika-apat na anibersaryo. Mabuhay po kayo, at maraming salamat sa inyong ‘di matatawarang serbisyo sa mamamayan.

Patuloy tayong magtulungan at magkaisa upang mas mapalakas pa ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa bawat Bangsamoro.

Sa ating pagkakaisa, mas marami pa tayong buhay na mabibigyan ng pag-asa.
