On August 29, 2023, the Provincial PDAO Focal, in a heartwarming partnership with MSSD BARMM Maguindanao, came together to make a significant impact in the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Empowering PWDs in Maguindanao del Norte: A Collaborative Effort

On September 19, 2023, The Provincial PDAO Focal of Maguindanao del Norte, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) BARMM Maguindanao and other local stakeholders, has taken a significant step towards inclusivity and empowerment by facilitating the transportation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to the Davao Jubilee Foundation, Inc., Davao City. This initiative aims to provide proper assessment and Prostheses training interventions for PWDs, thereby enhancing their quality of life and overall well-being.

The journey was facilitated with the utmost care, considering the unique needs and requirements of each individual. Upon arrival, the PWDs were greeted by a dedicated team of professionals and specialists. At the foundation, each PWD underwent a thorough assessment conducted by experienced healthcare practitioners. This assessment included a comprehensive evaluation of their physical condition, mobility, and specific needs.
