MAY 20, 2026/ Wednesday

Health is not just the absence of illness— it is the very foundation of every dream, every family’s hope and every community’s progress.

Bhs Nabundas together with Rhu malidegao successfully conducted purokalusogan in Brgy Nabundas. A vital initiative of Dra, NYMRAIDA MAROHOMBSAR rural health physician of malidgao. This program stands as a beacon of care, accessibility, and empowerment for every bangsamoro, specially those in the farthest, hardest to reach corners of Malidegao land.

This program reminds us that good health is a shared responsibility. It bridges the gap between health care providers and communities, fostering trust, cooperation and active participation. It teaches that being healthy means being strong enough to work, to care for our beloved Nabundaseña/Nabundaseños, to pursue our goals, and to contribute to the growth of our community.

To every health care worker, volunteer, leader, and family who embraces our Purokalusogan thank you so much. you are the heartbeat of this mission. Your dedication turns into policies tangible help. and vission into real, life changing results. Together let us continue to champion Purokalusogan, because when we are all healthy, we are all capable. When we are all well, our Nabundas will be also caple to leave in 😇😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (Epic) Project

RHU Malidegao is the first RHU in SGA chosen by the Global Health Security for Epic Project.

The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project is a global project, funded by the United States Government, that provides strategic technical support and direct service delivery to help countries achieve HIV epidemic control; strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; and improve maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH), nutrition, and malaria outcomes. EpiC supports countries in transitioning to sustainable, integrated health programs that are fully managed and financed by strong local health systems.

EpiC is led by FHI 360 with core partners Right to Care, Palladium, and Population Services International (PSI) and has been implemented by more than 260 partners.

We from RHU Malidegao are warmly welcomed the project and in behalf of our Rural Health physician Dra. Nymraida M. Marohombsar we are very thankful and excited for the partnership and our goal is for the welfare of our constituents.

The Rural Health Unit of Malidegao proudly recognizes our two dedicated midwives, Sir Abduljabbar B. Monib, RM, BSM and Sir Sujarto A. Usman, RM, for their successful participation in the Standard First Aid – Learning Facilitation Course! 🎉🩹

Held at Kassinahan Hotel and Resto, Isabela City, Basilan from May 4–9, 2026, this intensive training was conducted by the MOH BARMM – HEMS Department.

This program did not only enhance their technical first aid competencies — more importantly, it equipped them with the skills to effectively facilitate, teach, and share life-saving knowledge with others. They are now ready to turn expertise into action, and help build a safer community through education.

✨ Learn it. Master it. Teach it. 📝

Standard First Aid – Learning Facilitation Course: turning knowledge into capability, and individuals into confident responders. Because when more people know what to do in an emergency, our world becomes a safer place — one lesson at a time. ❤️❤️❤️
