Organized by the Office of the Deputy Chief Minister – Mainland, the dialogue aimed to reinforce collaboration between the Bangsamoro Government and religious leaders in advancing peace, unity, moral governance, and community development. The gathering brought together Ulama, Imams, Ustadz, and other key religious figures from across the mainland provinces.

The Office of the Wālī of Bangsamoro reaffirmed the vital call for unity among leaders and constituents in pursuit of a stronger and more resilient Bangsamoro. This was highlighted in the message delivered during the Bangsamoro Government Executive-Legislative Forum 2026 held on March 23 in Manila.

In his message, the Wālī emphasized that unity is not merely a political stance but a sacred responsibility rooted in faith and history:

“Dear brothers and sisters, our call for unity is not merely a political position; it is a divine command, a Prophetic methodology, and a clear lesson from history. Allah, the Almighty, says: ‘And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.’ This noble verse teaches us that the strength of the Ummah lies in its unity, and its weakness lies in its division.”

The Office of the Wālī of Bangsamoro continues to advocate for strengthened solidarity, guided by shared values and collective responsibility, towards achieving a more unified and resilient Bangsamoro.

Ungaya nu Wālī | Extending Iftar Behind the Walls

In the spirit of Ramadhan, the Office of the Wālī of Bangsamoro, through Ungaya nu Wālī, extended its outreach to Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs) in partnership with Police Station 2 of the Cotabato City Police Office.

More than a simple meal distribution, the activity carried a message of compassion and inclusion — reaching individuals in all circumstances and ensuring that no one is left behind in sharing the blessings of Iftar.

With the support of Police Station 2 personnel under the leadership of PCPT Anuar M. Mambatao, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to humanity, dignity, and service, even within custodial settings.

Ungaya nu Wālī continues to embody love in action — reaching every corner of the community, especially during this blessed month of Ramadhan.
