May 09, 2024, | The Province of Maguindanao del Norte conducted the Joint Social Protection Cluster Meeting for the second quarter together with the Provincial Gender and Development Coordinating Office (PGADCO) under the leadership of Governor Abdulraof "Gob Sam" Macacua at Conference Hall, Satellite Office of Maguindanao del Norte.

the Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) and other stakeholders Provided their accomplished data and presentation at the meeting.

Dr. Tomanda D. Antok, PhD, represented by the PHRMO Monina Macarongon, MPA, highlighted the importance of:
Seizing opportunities in the 2nd quarter.
Reflecting on achievements and assessing strategies.
Emphasized the value of collective wisdom and dedication in improving the lives of Maguindanao del Norte residents.
Engr. Amina T. Dalandag, PhD, the Provincial Director of MILG, presented the CFLGA Result.

Summary: The 2nd Quarter Social Protection Cluster Meeting allowed stakeholders to collaborate, reflect, and strategize for community improvement. By working together with a shared vision and dedication, progress in social protection efforts in Maguindanao del Norte is within reach.

Through the UNICEF and in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MMSD), Conducted a "Workshop Harmonization and Review of Child Protection (CP) and Gender-Based Violence (GVB) Case Management Tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)" for key child Protection technical Staff and case workers from the Regional, Provincial, and selected Municipalities/Cities with high prevalence rate of CP and GBV cases. The PGADCO (Provincial Gender and Development Coordinating Office) actively attended and participated in the Three-day Training Workshop held on April 23-25, 2024 at Paragon Hotel, Cotabato City.

In this training, participants from Maguindanao del Norte came together to address critical issues. focused on children’s rights, combating violence, and advancing the Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda.
