On May 31, 2026 I had lunch with my MSU-TCTO Law students as we celebrated the end of the semester for our Statutory Construction class. Thank you, future Pañeros and Pañeras, for making this a truly fulfilling experience. Three years ago, we visited the island community of Bellatan in Panglima Sugala, Tawi-Tawi, where we had the opportunity to distribute school bags to the students of Babag Salokah Primary School.

Despite the distance and challenges of reaching remote areas, we remained committed to bringing assistance directly to the communities that need it most.

This simple initiative was part of our continuing effort to support learners in far-flung island communities and help provide their basic school needs.
A simple support for our learners in far-flung island communities but one that carries a bigger purpose: to help every child continue their education with hope and dignity.

Healthcare support continues for our fellow Bangsamoro patients. 💚

An additional ₱1 million medical assistance was extended through West Metro Medical Center in Zamboanga City to help patients from Tawi-Tawi and nearby island communities with hospitalization and medical expenses.

This continuing initiative aims to make healthcare assistance more accessible and patient-friendly:
✔️ No red tape
✔️ No long queues
✔️ No need for endorsements

Because every Bangsamoro family deserves accessible and responsive healthcare, especially those who travel far from the islands to seek specialized treatment and care.

More hospital partnerships are also being prepared to further expand healthcare support for our island communities.
