OFFICE SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTS FREE DRIVER’S LICENSE PROGRAM UNDER SUPPLEMENTAL FUND 2025

Under the Supplemental Fund 2025, the Office proudly continues the implementation of the Free Driver’s License Program, a flagship initiative of Member of Parliament Khalid M. Hadji Abdullah aimed at supporting the local transport sector and promoting road safety compliance.

Through this program, 73 qualified beneficiaries have successfully obtained their official Driver’s Licenses free of charge, while 27 additional applicants are currently undergoing the necessary processing and documentation requirements. All expenses related to licensing, including processing fees and other required charges, are fully covered under the program.

The initiative seeks to strengthen the transport sector by ensuring that drivers are properly licensed and compliant with road safety regulations, while at the same time easing the financial burden on individuals who rely on driving as their primary source of livelihood.

The activity was conducted in an orderly and efficient manner at the Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office (BLTO) District Office – Marawi City under the supervision and leadership of Chief Engr. Pherozesha ll Aguam Bangcola, MPA and her dedicated team. Their professionalism, commitment, and tireless efforts were instrumental in ensuring the smooth implementation of the program.

The Office extends its sincere gratitude to the BLTO personnel for their invaluable support and unwavering dedication to delivering accessible, efficient, and people-centered public service.

Guided by his vision of “Service to Humanity,” MP Khalid M. Hadji Abdullah remains steadfast in his commitment to uplifting vulnerable sectors of society, particularly transport workers, by providing meaningful assistance and responsive programs that address their needs, especially during challenging times.

Eid al-Adha reminds us of the profound virtues of sacrifice, unwavering faith in Allah (SWT), and compassion for one another. As your Member of Parliament, I continue to witness these values reflected in the strength, generosity, and resilience of our people every single day.

Our journey toward a stronger and more progressive BARMM is built upon the sacrifices and dedication of every family and community across the Bangsamoro. May this sacred occasion inspire us to continue uplifting one another, sharing our blessings with sincerity, and standing united in hope and purpose for our homeland.

May Allah (SWT) accept all your prayers and sacrifices, bless your homes with peace and happiness, and continue to guide and protect our communities always.
