The Department of Tourism – Caraga Region, along with the Municipal Tourism Officers of General Luna and Del Carmen of Surigao del Norte, proudly participates in the opening of the 18th Regional Travel Fair (RTF) today, August 14, 2026, at the Alnor Convention Center, Cotabato City, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), the 18th Regional Travel Fair is being held from August 14–16, 2026 in BARMM. Since 2018, the RTF has served as a platform for promoting and selling domestic tour packages while showcasing the diverse tourism products, destinations, and services of participating regions. The fair brings together tourism stakeholders through Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) activities, creating opportunities for stronger partnerships, market linkages, and increased domestic travel.

The event formally opened with the Welcome Remarks of Arnold T. Gonzales, Acting Head of the Domestic Promotions Department, followed by a message from Hon. Abdulraof Macacua, Chief Minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

For Caraga, the RTF provides an important avenue to bring the region’s unique destinations, tourism experiences, local products, and community-based offerings closer to travelers and industry partners from across the country.

Caraga continues to invite everyone to discover more and experience a destination that goes beyond its waves.
