ANTI-CRIMINALITY CAMPAIGN

On May 31, 2026, at around 8:00 PM, the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU), QRT Team led by PLTCOL ROWELL J ZAFRA, Chief TEU, conducted ANTI-CRIMINALITY CAMPAIGN by Checkpoint along Kanto Shariff, and major thoroughfares of Cotabato City. The operation enforced "No Plate, No Travel" and "No Smoking" policies under "Oplan Sita, Salikop, Kapkap Bakal."

Authorities issued citation tickets for violations of City Ordinance Nos. 4428 (Traffic Code), 4644 (tri-habal vehicle regulations), 4581 (No Smoking/Vaping in public places), and 9134 (Anti-Balaclava and Face Covering Ordinance). The operation successfully reinforced traffic laws and promoted compliance with city ordinances.

TEU PVP VISIBILITY

On May 31, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) conducted police visibility operations at eight major points of thoroughfares in Cotabato City under the supervision of Chief TEU, PLTCOL ROWELL J ZAFRA.

Their deployment covered Fruitstand Area, Jose Lim Sr Street, NDU Press, COLAND, Malabacao Area, Mercury Santos Area, Las Hermanas Intersection, and Villa Funeral Posts. TEU officers ensured smooth traffic flow and prevented congestion in these critical areas. They also enhanced public safety by minimizing accident risks and providing reassurance to motorists. The proactive presence of TEU further deterred criminal activity, contributing to peace, order, and protection in the city.

On May 31, 2026, at around 3:00 PM, the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) of Cotabato City, led by PCPL Nor Hasser S Bagundang under the supervision of PLTCOL ROWELL J ZAFRA, conducted intensified motorcycle patrols along Sinsuat Avenue, SK Pendatun Avenue, and Don Rufino Alonzo Street, complemented by Random Oplan Kapkap Bakal and Sita operations to intercept suspicious individuals, verify vehicle documents, and search for concealed weapons or contraband. MOBILE PATROLLING

At around 10:00 AM on May 31, 2026, the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) Quick Response Team (QRT) under the supervison of PLTCOL ROWELL J ZAFRA, Chief TEU, the team patrolled a route starting from Japal Guiani Street as Staging Area, going to DPWH Ramon Rabago Street, traversing Sinsuat Avenue and De Mazenod Street toward Delta Bridge, and continuing through Jose Lim Sr. Street back to Sinsuat and Gov. Gutierrez Avenue.

​The operation aimed to maximize police visibility and strengthen security along major thoroughfares. By systematically patrolling high-traffic areas and maintaining a presence at designated Police Visibility Points, the QRT sought to deter criminal activity, ensure rapid incident response, and reinforce public safety within the community.
