Upang ipagpatuloy ang pagtulong sa mga kababayan natin na nasalanta ng bagyong , ang Coast Guard District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao ay nagpadala ng isa pang grupo ng mga tauhan nito dahil nais ng pamunuan na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang naunang grupo upang pansamantalang makapagpahinga bilang pagpapahalaga sa kanilang Occupational Health and Safety (OSH), matapos ang isang Linggo ng tuloy-tuloy na pagseserbisyo.

UPDATE: Members of the Task Force Tabang Surigao from Coast Guard District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao have been in the frontlines for the past one week, working round the clock, undaunted by fatigue and homesickness during this holiday season.

Today, 27 December 2021, the team together with other members of the Task Force from other Coast Guard Districts in Mindanao area were able to load 2,600 relief packs from DSWD at Surigao City to be unloaded at Dinagat Island.

LET OUR SERVICES BE INCLUSIVE.

Personnel from Coast Guard District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, were once again reminded to serve the public with humility and compassion following their recent deployment as members of Task Force Tabang Surigao in the aftermath of .

In addition to the said reminders, other personnel who were detailed to relieve the first contingent were educated virtually on the importance of inclusion in accordance with Republic Act 7277 also known as "An Act Providing for the Rehabilitation, Self-development and Self-Reliance of Disabled Person and their Full Integration into the Mainstream of Society and for other Purposes".

The said webinar also focused on the rights and privileges of Persons with Disability as well as measures to improve the PCG services to make it inclusive specially during the conduct of search and rescue and humanitarian assistance, and disaster response operations regardless of their disability and status in the society so that as duty holders we do not only promote life, but a life with dignity.

GOOD NEWS: Team Coast Guard District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao is in Dinagat Island.

On board Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408), skippered by CG CAPT JAYBOM J CALICA, is the team from CGDBARMM headed by CG P/ENS GAUDEMAR ACE TUPPIL. As part of the newly activated Task Force Tabang Surigao, they ably assisted the vessel's crew to unload 4,857 boxes of relief goods, 168 gallons of mineral water, 124 sacks of 50-kilogram rice and 3 containers of Fuel.

As the traditional noche buena is fast approaching, the team expects to celebrate it onboard MRRV-4408 as they continue to provide assistance to the victims of . "Happy to serve po!" ang sagot nila nang sila ay aming kumustahin. Sa mga kababayan natin sa Northeastern side, kapit lang po at makakaasa kayong tuloy-tuloy ang aming pagseserbisyo upang mas mapabilis ang ating pagbangon.

LOOK: Coast Guard District BARMM Officers hold a short briefing for its personnel who will compose the District's humanitarian mission to support the PCG's on-going efforts to provide immediate support and assistance to internally displaced families during the onslaught of .

Last Monday, Team CGDBARMM left its Headquarters in Parang, Maguindanao to board BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV 4408) in Davao City enroute to CGD Northeastern Mindanao AOR. The said vessel is loaded with 32 tons of assorted relief items that were collected by CGD Southeastern Mindanao from kind-hearted individuals in Davao City. On top of the recent personnel deployment, Team CGDBARMM is currently raising funds from its own troops to be given to Coast Guard personnel who were badly affected by believing that even a simple act of sharing can create a positive impact to their comrades who are still recovering from the disaster while at the same time performing their duties in the frontlines.

Further, to intensify its HADR efforts, this District is requesting kind-hearted individuals in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao to extend their assistance in cash or in kind to our Kababayans in Northeastern Mindanao.

IN PHOTOS: Personnel of Coast Guard District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CGDBARMM) provided security and safety assistance during the conduct of the Annual Guinakit Fluvial Parade on 19 December 2021 in connection with the celebration of Shariff Kabunsuan Festival with the theme "Reliving the past for an empowered Bangsamoro". The said event was actively participated in by more or less 214 motorized boats adorned with colorful pandalas, the Maguindanaoan's symbol of festivity.

In support of the said activity, this District has deployed its personnel and assets to join other law enforcement agencies who were tasked to ensure the security and safety of all participants, organizers, and other distinguished personalities during the event.
