LOOK | The Maguindanao Provincial Hospital(MPH) recently invited the Ministry of Health’s Ibadah-Compliant Health Facility Program for an enriching Ibadah Series Lecture on February 27, 2026 at Brgy. Limpongo, Datu Hoffer Ampatuan MDN.

Sh. Saadawi H. Said Mamaluba delivered an insightful talk on the topic "Actions of the Heart (‘Amaal Al-Quloob)," emphasizing some of the Actions of the Heart such as Sincerity (Al-Ikhlas), Watchfulness/Divine Observance (Al-Muraqabah), Self-Accountability/Self-Evaluation (Al-Muhasabah) and Contentment/Pleasure with the Divine Decree (Ar-Rida) , and strengthening faith during the blessed month of Ramadhan.

The event gathered healthcare professionals and staff in a reflective session aimed at integrating spiritual values with compassionate healthcare service, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to holistic and faith-centered care.

Amidst the spiritual atmosphere of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Health (MOH-BARMM) has launched a vital educational intervention: the “Basic Arabic Language and Reading” program.

Recognizing that many Muslim employees within the Ministry have not had the opportunity to learn the Arabic script, this program—conducted through the Ibadah Compliant Health Facility (ICHF) Program—serves as a bridge to deeper faith. By teaching foundational literacy now, the MOH is ensuring its workforce can maximize the blessings of Ramadan through a direct understanding of Islamic texts.

For the participants in Batch 1, the session on February 24 was a breakthrough. They moved from silence to sound, mastering the Arabic alphabet and the precise makharij (articulation) of letters. For many, this is the first time they are able to look at the Mushaf (the written Qur'an) and recognize the letters that form the words they have recited in prayer for years.

Under the direction of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐥 𝐌. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐫., 𝐃𝐏𝐁𝐎, and in coordination with ICHF religious leaders, the Ministry is redefining "workplace development.

The program will continue throughout the month, offering a sanctuary of learning amidst the busy schedule of the Ministry. It stands as a testament to the BARMM’s unique governance—where professional duty and religious devotion are seamlessly intertwined.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ:
«إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ، وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ، وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ»

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.”
