Alhamdulillah for the blessing of witnessing another Eid!

Today reminds us of the meaning of sacrifice, faith, and submission to the will of the Almighty. As exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS), we are called to place devotion and submission above all else, and to trust fully in divine wisdom.

May this day renew our intentions, guide our choices, and keep our hearts aligned with what pleases Allah (SWT).

Side quest natin this weekend: Operation Free Tuli 2026!

Kasama ang aking Mason brothers, at sa pakikipagtulungan ng Antonio Y. Yupitin Foundation at ng Wee Family, at katuwang ang Project TABANG at Cotabato Regional and Medical Center, naglunsad ang Kutang Bato Lodge 110 F. & A.M. ng libreng circumcision services para sa mga batang lalaki. Namahagi rin tayo ng mga gamot at rice packs sa mga kabataang dumalo.

Matagal-tagal na rin ang huling operasyon na ginawa natin. Alhamdulillah for this successful event!

A productive morning today for the Committee on Health!

We are now moving forward with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the BARMM Government and the University of Oslo. This will open pathways for learning and capacity-building for our people, including research and scholarship opportunities. This MOU will now be forwarded to Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua for approval.

We also mapped out the Committee’s upcoming activities for our non-hospital bills. While we continue to prioritize the implementation of our hospital laws, we are also ensuring steady progress on other important measures for public health and healthcare services.

Hindi na lingid sa ating kaalaman na prone sa natural disasters ang ating bansa, lalo na sa lindol at pagbaha. Sa kasalukuyan, ang iba't ibang ahensya natin dito sa BARMM ay may kanya-kanyang programa at polisiya sa pagtugon sa mga sakuna. Sa kabila nito, nakikita natin ang pangangailangan ng isang unified regional policy framework.

Sa bill na ito, layunin nating magtatag ng isang permanent governance framework for infrastructure resilience dito sa BARMM. We aim to empower existing ministries; at maglulunsad tayo ng isang Resilience and Safety Unit (RSU). This measure will complement current disaster risk management efforts through an audit-based, evidence-driven mechanism backed by sustained annual funding.
