The Office of MP Tawakal B. Midtimbang successfully conducted a Camp and Community Visitation Program, which included the distribution of rice, groceries, medicines, Iftar pack lunch, and vegetable seeds, at Camp Bad’r located in Barangay Datalpandan, Guindulungan, Maguindanao del Sur. The activity aimed to strengthen community engagement, foster unity, and bring the services of the Bangsamoro Government closer to the people, particularly to grassroots communities.
The program was conducted in partnership with the Office of the Parliament Speaker, Hon. Dr. Mohammad S. Yacob, together with the BTA Parliament Secretary General, Prof. Raby Angkal. This collaborative effort of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority highlights the continued commitment of the Bangsamoro leadership to actively engage with communities and ensure that the programs and initiatives of the Bangsamoro Government reach even the grassroots level.
The activity gathered various leaders and representatives from different sectors, including the Chiefs of Divisions and Units of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, officials from the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Guindulungan, and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Datalpandan led by Hon. Barangay Chairman Kaharudin B. Midtimbang. Also present were commanders of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F), along with the Mujahidin and Mujahidath, stakeholders, and members of the local community.
The visitation served as a meaningful platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the strengthening of solidarity among government officials, community leaders, and the Bangsamoro people. It also reaffirmed the shared commitment to peacebuilding, community development, and the continuous pursuit of inclusive governance in the Bangsamoro region.
Through initiatives like this, the Office of MP Tawakal B. Midtimbang remains dedicated to supporting community empowerment, promoting unity, and ensuring that the voices and aspirations of the Bangsamoro people are heard and addressed.
