• 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗸 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻: Tungkulin ng ERB na tiyakin na tanging kwalipikadong aplikante lamang ang magiging rehistradong botante, at walang hindi kwalipikado o kulang sa kwalipikasyon, ang mapapabilang sa talaan ng mga botante sa inyong barangay.

• 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻: Sa pamamagitan ng proseso ng approval o disapproval ng mga aplikasyon, sinisiguro ng ERB na ang lahat ng nagnanais maging botante ay tumutugon sa mga kwalipikasyon na itinatakda ng batas, tulad ng EDAD at SAPAT NA TAGAL NG PANINIRAHAN SA BARANGAY, upang makaboto sa November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election.

Earlier today, May 25, 2026, the Office of the City Election Officer of Cotabato City successfully conducted the Voter Education and Information Activity at Alnor Convention Hall, Cotabato City, in preparation for the upcoming September 14, 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.

The activity, headed by the Acting City Election Officer of Cotabato City, who’s also the concurrent Supervising Lawyer of the Special Geographic Area (SGA), BARMM, Atty. Muamar A. Guyo, was attended by barangay officials and residents from the 3rd District of Cotabato City and from Brgys. Poblacion 1 and Poblacion 7 of the 3rd District of Maguindanao del Norte. It aimed to strengthen voter awareness, promote responsible electoral participation, and provide important information regarding the parliamentary electoral process.

The Office extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, partner agencies, stakeholders and individuals who contributed to the success of this important activity.

Earlier this morning, May 20, 2026, the Office of the City Election Officer of Cotabato City conducted a coordination meeting with the Barangay Officials from the 3rd District of Cotabato City in preparation for the upcoming Voters’ Education Activity relative to the September 14, 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.

The Office extends its sincere appreciation to all participating barangay officials for their active cooperation and continued support in promoting a safe, orderly, and credible electoral process for the first-ever Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.

Please be informed that the Voter Registration for all Cities and Municipalities in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is only from February 9, 2026 until March 31, 2026.

In this regard, the Office of the City Election Officer of Cotabato is NO LONGER accepting applications for:

✅ Transfer of Registration Records
✅ Correction of Entries
✅ Reactivation of Records

We encourage the public to stay guided accordingly and wait for further announcements regarding the next schedule of voter registration activities.

CLARIFICATORY HEARING

Maaaring magpatawag ang Commission ng clarificatory hearing tungkol sa Petition for Accreditation ng isang RPPP. Narito ang proseso nito:

1.) Ang Petition for Accreditation ay i-eendorse sa COMELEC Election Records and Statistics Department (ERSD) para sa assessment.
2.) Isusumite ng Election Records and Statistics Department ang kanilang findings at recommendations sa Commission En Banc
3.) Maglalabas ng Resolution ang Commission En Banc sa pag-sang-ayon o hindi sa mga rekomendasyon ng Election Records and Statistics Department.

CRITERIA SA PAGTUKOY NG DOMINANT MAJORITY, DOMINANT MINORITY, AT 10 MAJOR REGIONAL PARLIAMENTARY POLITICAL PARTIES

Criterion #1 (40%) - ABILIDAD NA MAKAKALAP NG MGA KANDIDATO AT NOMINEES para sa iba’t-ibang elective position sa Bangsamoro Parliament
Criterion #2 (40%) - BILANG NG MGA ITINATAG NA MUNICIPAL AT CITY CHAPTERS sa bawat probinsya ng BARMM
Criterion #3 (20%) - BILANG NG MGA BABAENG KANDIDATO AT PARTY NOMINEES

Kung sakaling may 2 o higit pang RPPPs na magkapareho ang total points, maaaring ikonsidera ng COMELEC ang partido na may mas mataas na porsyento ng mga babaeng kandidato at nominee bilang Dominant Majority, Dominant Minority, o isang Major RPPP.
