It was a meaningful moment to sit down and share a meal with our Moro students studying at the University of Madinah.

Being here, in a place of faith and learning, and seeing our youth pursue knowledge reminds me not only of our earlier days of struggle, but also of the broader mission of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) to uplift his people from ignorance, poverty, and injustice.

Like many of us before them, these young men carry not only their personal dreams, but also the future of the Bangsamoro.

May Allah (swt) guide them, protect them, and bring them back to our homeland with wisdom and purpose.

As the blessed month of Ramadan comes to a close, we join the Muslim Ummah in celebrating Eidโ€™l Fitr. May it be a day of gratitude, reflection, and renewed hope.

Ramadan has reminded us of the values that sustain both faith and community through patience in hardship, discipline in our actions, compassion for others, and sincerity in our intentions. These are the same values that continue to guide the Bangsamoro people in our journey toward dignity, justice, and lasting peace.

As we celebrate Eid, we remember those who continue to face hardship and uncertainty. May this occasion strengthen our sense of unity within our communities and across the Ummah.

Let this day be a moment not only of celebration, but of recommitment to peace, to service, and to the continued building of a just and meaningful future for our people.

The event was graced by the daughters and son of MNLF Mujahidin MP Baiali Karon, along with Minister Farserina Mohammad and Jackuan Isnaji. Also present were MNLF Commanders Alonto S. Adam, Doy Kamsa, Datu Kedzim Bansawan, and Commander Brah.

Simultaneously, the commemoration was also held in Pandag, Maguindanao del Sur, and Tamontaka V, Cotabato City, reflecting the unity and shared remembrance of the Bangsamoro people across different areas.

In his message, Chairman Muslimin G. Sema called on all Bangsamoro to remain united, to remember the sacrifices of the past, and to continue the struggle with strength, wisdom, and solidarity.

As we ease into to the final ten days of Ramadan, Muslims around the world turn to deeper reflection and prayer, seeking the blessings of Laylatul Qadr.

These blessed nights come at a time when many parts of the Muslim world, especially our brothers and sisters in the Middle East and Africa face immense suffering and uncertainty. In moments like these, we are reminded of the importance of unity within the Ummah. Compassion and shared responsibility for one another as one ummah, regardless of denomination, must take precedence over what divides us.

For the Bangsamoro people, this call to unity carries a deeper meaning. Our own history has taught us that endurance, faith, and solidarity are what sustain a people through hardship and guide them toward dignity and peace.

As we observe these final nights of Ramadan, let us pray for peace and justice for all who suffer, and renew our commitment to unity; not only within the Bangsamoro, but across the Ummah around the world.

This message is shared in the spirit of solidarity with friends and partners in the Muslim world, including our brothers from the Embassy of Malaysia in the Philippines, with whom we recently gathered for iftar. As the Chairman observes these blessed days in Makkah, the call for unity, prayer, and compassion for the Ummah becomes even more profound.

May Allah grant us Laylatul Qadr, give us strength, guidance, and peace to our people.

The Sebangan Kutawato State Revolutionary Committee-1 (SKSRC-1), one of the 30 provincial committees of the MNLF under Chairman Datu Muslimin G. Sema, held a formation and inspection of its forces at Camp Aladin in Brgy. Ilian, Matalam.

Chairman Sema attended the activity alongside members of the MNLF Central Committee and Bangsamoro Armed Forces (BAF) commanders. Community leaders, Indigenous Peoples, settlers, and local PNP officers were also present.

A fully-armed BAF battalion, including elements of the BAF 7th Mobile Army under Chief Datu Matog โ€œCowboyโ€ Lumambas, was presented for inspection. The ceremony was also witnessed by PNP officers of Matalam and Old Kaabakan, alongside community leaders, Indigenous Peoples, and settlers.

Held in what was once a battleground during the 1970s conflict, the gathering was both organizational and symbolic. It also served as an early commemoration of the Jabidah Massacre and the 58th Founding Anniversary of the MNLF this coming March 18, and a reaffirmation of the call for unity, perseverance, and strengthening of the Frontโ€™s organizational structure, with full support to the Bangsamoro Party (BaPa).

As the crescent moon marks the commencement of the blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest greetings to the Bangsamoro Ummah. This sacred season is a profound period of spiritual renewal, reflection, and total surrender to Allah (SWT). As ordained in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183, fasting is a divine obligation intended to cultivate righteousness (Taqwa) and serve as a means of physical and spiritual purification for every believer.

In the spirit of this holy month, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE-BARMM) reaffirms its steadfast commitment to upholding workers' rights with integrity and sincerity. We view our service as a form of Ibadah, striving to ensure that the fruits of the peace processโ€”manifested through dignified livelihoodsโ€”reach every corner of our region. We are guided by the Quranic reminder to "seek help through patience and prayer" (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45) as we fulfill our mandate to the workforce.

May this Ramadan bring forth an abundance of blessings, enduring peace, and sustained prosperity to the Bangsamoro homeland. Let us break our fasts in unity and with hearts full of compassion for the less fortunate. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, our sacrifices, and our collective supplications.

The Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) firmly condemns the reported hazing incident involving recruited M**F and MNLF police integrees.

The integration program under the Bangsamoro Organic Law was created to transform former combatants into protectors of peace and security in our communities.

Subjecting them to violence and unlawful โ€œreception ritesโ€ violates the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018 and undermines the very purpose of this historic peace initiative.

There is no place for hazing in an institution tasked to uphold the law and protect human rights.

We call for accountability, justice, and the protection of our integrees.

Peace must be built on respect, dignity, and the rule of law.
