The Compostela Fire Station, BFP Region 7, under the leadership of ๐…๐‚๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐‘๐Ž๐ƒ๐Ž๐‹๐…๐Ž ๐ ๐ƒ๐„๐๐€๐†๐€, ๐ƒ๐’๐‚, Regional Director, in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal โ€“ Cebu, headed by ๐…๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐€๐‘๐‘๐€ ๐ ๐€๐‹๐๐€๐‰๐€๐‘๐Ž, and under the supervision of ๐…๐’๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐‘๐Ž๐†๐„๐‘ ๐ ๐‹๐Ž๐‘๐Ž, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted its Weekly Troop Information and Education (TI&E) session.

This weekโ€™s learning session was facilitated by SFO3 Jack Janson, who discussed the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) 2024 App, an essential reference tool that provides responders with quick and reliable information during hazardous materials incidents and other emergency situations.

๐Ÿ“ฑ The session emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing available technology and reliable reference materials to help personnel identify potential hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate initial response actions during emergencies.

๐Ÿš’ Continuous learning and preparedness are essential in ensuring an effective emergency response. Through regular TI&E sessions, Compostela Fire Station personnel are given opportunities to enhance their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and strengthen their readiness to respond to various incidents while prioritizing the safety of both responders and the community.
