YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2025
Theme: Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond
The Youth Leadership Summit 2025 was successfully conducted on August 23 and 24 by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Clarin, headed by Hon. Board Member Clara Mie V. Villanueva and Federated Vice-President Hon. Mark Ryan B. Doldolia, together with the Local Youth Development Office under LYDO-designate Mr. Raymond Butalid, with the strong support of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Riza Oaminal-Delos Santos and Vice Mayor Emeterio Roa Jr.
This two-day summit gathered youth leaders, Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons, SK Council members, and youth representatives from different barangays of Clarin. The event served as a platform for young leaders to deepen their understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthen leadership skills, and create concrete action plans that will empower them to contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and workshops, the participants were encouraged to be catalysts of positive change and champions of youth-led initiatives.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our distinguished guest speakers—Hanzen D. Tomato, MSDC, LPT; Atty. Marleaf Villa-Mandin; Ma'am Norma Eslit; Mr. Jhanil A. Cuevas; Mr. Allan C. Ramirez; and Ma'am Janeth Limpot—for generously sharing their time, wisdom, and expertise. Their inspiring talks and meaningful insights have greatly contributed to the growth and motivation of our young leaders, particularly in the areas of governance, leadership, education, community development, and sustainable practices.
Special thanks and appreciation are also given to the dedicated committee members—Emmelou Baco, Lully Rose Faith D. Econg, Arbie Dompales, Jason Butalid, Aljun Jayo, Cherry Mae Orcajo, Johnrey Pacho, and Juvanie Ambayic—for their hard work, commitment, and teamwork that made this summit a success.
This event marks another step forward in empowering the youth of Clarin to take the lead in shaping a brighter and more sustainable future, not only for their local communities but also for the generations to come.
