The 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) results show that most employed individuals in the City of Vigan are engaged in service-oriented and elementary occupations.

💼 Top Occupation Groups
• Service and Sales Workers – 4,565 (24.14%)
• Elementary Occupations – 3,946 (20.87%)
• Managers – 2,102 (11.12%)
• Clerical Support Workers – 1,709 (9.04%)
• Plant and Machine Operators and Assemblers – 1,634 (8.64%)

Other occupation groups include professionals, technicians and associate professionals, craft and related trades workers, and skilled agricultural, forestry, and fishery workers.

The 2024 CBMS results show that the vast majority of residents in the City of Vigan feel safe in their communities.

✅ 97.42% of respondents said they feel safe walking alone at night in their area.

This reflects the continued efforts of the community, local authorities, and partner agencies in maintaining peace, order, and public safety across the city.

📊 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Results - Participation and Demographic Profile

The 2024 CBMS results highlight key demographic and household characteristics of the City of Vigan and serve as an important source of data for planning and development.

Data collection was conducted from July to October 2024, followed by data processing and validation from October 2024 to February 2025. The finalized dataset was officially transmitted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to the City Government of Vigan in March 2025.

• Participation Rate: 88.67%
