I extend my warmest congratulations and commendation to the 42 new Naval Reservists from our province for their hard work and commitment in successfully completing the Basic Citizen Military Course Class 02-2026.

As Commander of the 112th Naval Combat Support Squadron Reserve Squadron ( 112nd NCSSR) ) and a fellow Naval Reservist, I am truly proud of the dedication and perseverance you have shown throughout this training. This program has shaped you into disciplined, capable and service-oriented individuals ready to support national security and the welfare of our communities. I deeply value the vital role you now hold as the nation’s second line of defense, ready to respond whenever our people and country need you.

Through my office and my command, I will continue to support the initiatives of the Philippine Navy and encourage more Ilocos Surians to follow your lead. Together, we will be more productive as we serve our fellow citizens, especially during times of need.

Vice Governor Ryan Singson presided over the 40th Regular Session of the 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Ilocos Sur, emphasizing the council’s continuous efforts to craft sound resolutions and ordinances. Vice Governor Ryan Singson took part in the inauguration of the LandBank Ilocos Sur Corporate Center, located in San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur. Established by the Land Bank of the Philippines, this facility serves as a one-stop-shop designed to house multiple banking and administrative services under one roof. It aims to deliver integrated financial services more conveniently and comprehensively to the public.

During his message, Vice Governor Ryan Singson noted that an inclusive financial system is the foundation of equitable progress, allowing more people to safely save, access credit and participate fully in the local economy. He further highlighted that this new facility will contribute to a more efficient and responsive banking system, streamlining transactions, improving service delivery and bringing government financial services closer to the people.

It serves as a key extension of his vision to nurture local sporting potential, providing a competitive yet encouraging platform where young boxers can gain experience, build confidence and strive for excellence. Most of the participants are proud products of the Vice Governor’s grassroots program, an initiative specifically designed to discover, train and mold promising athletes from the ground up. By bringing competitions to accessible venues like the Elorde Boxing Gym, Vice Governor Ryan Singson ensures that opportunities are within reach for all aspiring fighters. This not only highlights the growing talent in the province but also reinforces the commitment to building a strong foundation for sports, paving the way for the next generation of champions.
