Last May 28, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Cervantes, through the Office of the Municipal Agriculture Office, facilitated a Farmers Seminar on Soil Treatment conducted by ALKALIZER. The activity provided farmers with valuable information on the use and benefits of Alkalizer – Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) in improving soil condition, enhancing nutrient availability, and increasing crop productivity.

The Municipal Officials, headed by Municipal Mayor Atty. Mary Joyce P. Maggay welcomes initiatives and innovative agricultural technologies that help our farmers gain knowledge and practical solutions to improve their farming practices. Through continuous learning and collaboration, we remain committed to supporting a productive, sustainable, and resilient agricultural sector in the municipality.

The Municipal Health Office, together with Municipal Mayor Atty. Mary Joyce P. Maggay participated in the HIV/AIDS Memorial Candlelight Service held today at 4:30 in the afternoon at the Municipal Gymnasium. The Local Government Unit of Cervantes joins the global community in commemorating the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial.

This meaningful activity serves as a reminder to honor the millions of lives lost due to AIDS-related illnesses, while continuing to promote awareness, compassion, and solidarity for people living with HIV.

The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is more than a remembrance ceremony—it is a global grassroots movement that aims to:

🕯️ Honor and remember those we lost
✊ Break the silence, stigma, and discrimination surrounding HIV/AIDS
🩺 Advocate for equal access to healthcare, treatment, and human rights
🌐 Unite communities worldwide in the shared fight against HIV/AIDS
