Education is a continuing process, and in healthcare, attitude is what transforms knowledge and skills into compassionate care.
During the Intravenous Therapy Seminar attended by our newly hired nurses and healthcare professionals, we emphasized a vital reminder: while our healthcare workers already possess the necessary knowledge and technical skills, the true measure of excellence lies in their attitude toward service.
Beyond clinical competence, healthcare demands empathy, humility, professionalism, effective communication, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. As we continue to strengthen our capabilities through learning and training, may we never lose sight of the human side of healing, treating every patient with compassion, respect, and understanding.
This seminar serves as another step in ensuring that our healthcare workforce remains not only clinically competent but also deeply committed to delivering quality and compassionate public service.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Nestor Archival, Vice Mayor Tommy Osmeña, and the entire Cebu City Government for their continued support of the healthcare sector and their unwavering commitment to the professional development of our healthcare workers.
At Cebu City Medical Center, we remain committed to developing healthcare professionals who are not only competent in practice but also compassionate in purpose.
