On November 22, 2025, We officially launched โKABATAAN SA LAHUG: KAON, KAT-ON, KALIPAY โ A Reading Intervention Program,โ an initiative of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Lahug dedicated to nurturing young minds through learning, play, and nourishment.
This milestone would not have been possible without the collective effort and unwavering commitment of many hands and hearts. ๐
To our KK Officers โ thank you for your thoughtful planning, dedication, and leadership in making this meaningful event come to life. Although there were many challenges, they did not stop us from keeping our burning passion to make a change, even in small ways, to inspire young hearts and guide them toward the right path by teaching them how to love learning. Your laughter and simple thank yous are more than enough. May we keep this project sustainable for your growth and development.
And of course, to our youth volunteers, parents, and guardians โ your energy, compassion, and willingness to serve made the programโs first day truly impactful. You are the heart of this mission.
Because of all of you, our launching was not just successful โ it was inspiring. Together, we are planting seeds of learning, joy, and hope for the children of Lahug. May we never get tired of serving. May we never get tired of making changeโฆ even a little.
