LOOK: In support of Oplan Byaheng Ayos for the Semana Santa and summer vacation period, personnel of the Maritime Security Law Enforcement Group – Central Visayas (MARSLEG-CV), led by LTJG Duke Holdem M. Saba, PCG, Commander of MARSLEG-CV, in coordination with FOU K9-CV and Coast Guard Station Central Cebu under the supervision of Coast Guard District Central Visayas, conducted a joint paneling inspection with the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group 7 at Pier 3, Cebu City today 30 March 2026.

This activity was undertaken to strengthen port security and prevent the entry of illegal drugs and other contraband, highlighting the continued commitment of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring maritime safety and security.

The Maritime Security Law Enforcement Group – Central Visayas (MARSLEG-CV) headed by LTJG DUKE HOLDEM M SABA PCG, with the support of the Coast Guard District Central Visayas, Facilitated the lecture on a Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) and the Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 conducted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 7 today 06 March 2026.

The activity was held at Hawanan ni Lapu-Lapu, Coast Guard District Central Visayas, Cebu City, and was attended by personnel from Coast Guard District Central Visayas and Maritime Security Law Enforcement Group-Central Visayas. The lecture aimed to enhance awareness on the dangers and negative effects of illegal drugs, while promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free working environment among Coast Guard personnel.The above mentioned lecture also emphasized the rule of uniformed personnel in supporting the government’s anti- illegal drugs campaign.
