GRADE 8 KUMUSTAHAN & FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD) | "Your Voice Matters. We're Here to Listen."
Talamban National High School successfully conducted the Grade 8 Kumustahan and Focus Group Discussion (FGD), bringing together learners who are transferees from other schools, transferred from the Afternoon Session to the Morning Session, Balik-Aral learners, and repeaters.
The activity served as a safe space where learners were encouraged to share their experiences, adjustment challenges, and concerns as they continue their journey in Grade 8. More importantly, it reaffirmed that they are not aloneβour teachers, Guidance Office, school administrators, and parents are always ready to listen, support, and guide them.
The session featured meaningful discussions on mental health awareness, bullying prevention, responsible use of technology, and the importance of kindness, respect, and seeking help whenever needed. It also reminded our learners that every life is valuable and that asking for help is a sign of strength.
This initiative reflects Talamban National High School's commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every learner feels welcomed, heard, and empowered to succeed.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Juanita D. Geraldez, School Principal, Dr. Geraline M. Gonzaga, Assisting Principal, Mrs. Sharon S. Rebecca, Guidance Counselor, Mr. Gilbert P. Dosdos, Prefect of Discipline, the SPTA Officers, faculty members, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful activity.
Together, we continue to build a school where every learner belongs, every voice matters, and every future is worth protecting.
