WORK, CLASSES SUSPENSION IN CEBU

There will be no classes or work in government offices and private establishments across Cebu on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in observance of the 457th Founding Anniversary of Cebu Province.

Pursuant to Republic Act 7698 (amending RA 8952), the special non-working holiday applies across the entire Province of Cebu, including the highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, as well as component cities such as Danao and Toledo.
