Held in celebration of the birthday of JSUPT JONNABELLE ROILES TEMPLADO, MPA, Jail Warden, the Jail Wardenโ€™s Cup Pickleball Tournament brought personnel together for an exciting day of friendly competition, laughter, and teamwork.

The tournament featured three categories: ๐๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ, ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐†๐š๐ฆ๐ž,, giving players of different skill levels an opportunity to showcase their skills and enjoy the sport.

Adding more fun to the celebration was the hilarious โ€œ๐–๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ญ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐žโ€, where personnel players stepped onto the court in their most unexpected game-day outfitsโ€”proving that you donโ€™t always need the right outfit to bring the right energy!

More than just a tournament, the activity celebrated fitness, friendship, sportsmanship, and the strong bond among personnel.

The Values Restoration Program of Cebu City Jailโ€“Female Dormitory, through SJO1 Gina V Estrada, Values Restoration Program Officer, highlighted this weekโ€™s value-focus: EMOTIONAL STABILITY.

The session reminded our PDL and personnel that true strength lies in staying calm amid challenges, choosing positive responses, and nurturing inner peace. โœจ

Because when we learn to manage our emotions, we become better equipped to make positive choices and move forward toward meaningful change and transformation. ๐Ÿค

CEBU CITY COMMEMORATES NAT'L HEROES DAY

LOOK: The Cebu City Government, together with other government offices and agencies, commemorated National Heroes Day at the Rizal Monument in Plaza Sugbo on Monday morning, August 31. The program included a wreath-laying ceremony, with wreaths offered by the Cebu City Government and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Central Visayas (BJMP-7).

Cebu City officials, personnel from the Cebu City Police Office, Cebu City Fire Office, Coast Guard District Central Visayas, and other government agencies also attended the ceremony.

Tampok sa programa ang masiglang pagtatanghal ng mga Katutubong Sayaw, na sumasalamin sa mayamang kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlan ng ating lahing Pilipino.

Lalo pang naging makulay ang pagdiriwang nang magsuot ng tradisyunal na kasuotang Pilipino ang buong personnel, bilang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal, paggalang, at pagmamalaki sa ating sariling kultura.
