DANAO CITY POLICE NET TWO STREET-LEVEL DRUG PERSONALITIES, SEIZE ₱16.7K WORTH OF SHABU IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

Operatives of the Danao City Police Station arrested two suspected street-level drug personalities and confiscated approximately ₱16,728.00 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted in Sitio Pulangyuta, Barangay Looc, Danao City, Cebu, on July 31, 2026.

The primary suspect was arrested after selling suspected shabu to an undercover police operative, while her cohort was likewise apprehended during the operation.

Recovered from the suspects were one (1) heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu used as the subject of sale, nine (9) additional heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) genuine ₱200 marked buy-bust bill, and one (1) coin purse. Authorities estimated the total weight of the confiscated suspected shabu at approximately 2.46 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱16,728.00.

Charges for Violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against them.

DANAO CITY POLICE SERVE BENCH WARRANT AGAINST DRUG CASE ACCUSED DETAINED AT CITY JAIL

The Danao City Police Station implemented a Bench Warrant of Arrest against an accused facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at the Danao City Jail–Male Dormitory in Barangay Dunggoan, Danao City, Cebu, on July 31, 2026.

The accused was served with a Bench Warrant of Arrest in connection with Violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 due to failure to attend court hearings. The warrant, was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 90, Danao City, Cebu. No bail was recommended under the warrant.

At the time of implementation, the accused was already under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) at the Danao City Jail–Male Dormitory. The bench warrant was duly served to ensure the continuation of court proceedings in the pending drug case.

BADIAN POLICE CAPTURE TOP 6 REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON IN ANTI-DRUG OPERATION

A Top 6 Regional Most Wanted Person facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was arrested by the Joint Tracker Team of the Badian Municipal Police Station and personnel of the Cebu Provincial Intelligence Team–Regional Intelligence Unit 7 (PIT-RIU 7) during the implementation of a warrant of arrest in Barangay Matutinao, Badian, Cebu, on the morning of August 6, 2026.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165. The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 95, Barili, Cebu, with no bail recommended.

Upon his apprehension, the accused was informed of the nature of the charge against him, his constitutional rights, and the provisions of the Anti-Torture Act in a language he fully understood. He was subsequently brought to the Badian Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and temporary custody pending his turnover to the issuing court.

DAANBANTAYAN POLICE NET THREE DRUG PERSONALITIES, SEIZE ₱748,000 WORTH OF SHABU IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

Three suspected drug personalities were arrested while approximately 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱748,000.00 were confiscated during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station in Sitio Tagasa, Barangay Maya, Daanbantayan, Cebu, on August 6, 2026.

The operation was carried out by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station following intelligence monitoring and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The three suspects were apprehended after an illegal drug transaction was successfully consummated, resulting in their arrest for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Recovered during the operation were five medium-sized sachets, one large sachet, and ten small sachets containing suspected shabu with a total estimated weight of 110 grams and an estimated value of ₱748,000.00 based on the prevailing Standard Drug Price.

The arrested suspects are currently detained at the custodial facility of the Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station while the necessary documents are being prepared for the filing of appropriate criminal charges. The confiscated drug evidence will be submitted to the appropriate forensic laboratory for qualitative and quantitative examination.

ALEGRIA POLICE HELP TRACK DOWN WANTED DRUG SUSPECT AFTER MORE THAN TWO YEARS ON THE RUN

A wanted drug suspect who had evaded arrest for more than two years was finally apprehended during a joint law enforcement operation conducted by the Alegria Municipal Police Station and partner law enforcement units in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, on July 30, 2026.

The operation was led by the CIDG Lapu-Lapu City Field Unit with the support of personnel from the Alegria Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 7 (RIU7), Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit 7 (RPHU 7), PHPT Cebu-West, and Police Station 5 of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 62, Oslob, Cebu, with no bail recommended.

Police investigation disclosed that the accused had managed to evade arrest for more than two years by constantly transferring from one location to another and concealing his whereabouts, making it difficult for law enforcement authorities to serve the warrant. Acting on information provided by a confidential informant regarding the suspect's presence in Barangay Pusok, authorities immediately launched a coordinated operation that led to his successful arrest.

CPPO APPREHENDS 548 ORDINANCE VIOLATORS IN SUSTAINED SAFER CITIES INITIATIVE OPERATIONS

The Cebu Police Provincial Office continued its intensified implementation of the Safer Cities Initiative, resulting in the apprehension of 548 ordinance violators during 291 police operations conducted throughout Cebu Province on August 5, 2026.

The province-wide operations focused on the strict enforcement of local ordinances aimed at preserving public order, promoting discipline, and preventing criminality. Of the total apprehended violators, 419 were issued fines, while 129 were warned and released in accordance with existing ordinances and local government policies.

The operations recorded 419 violations of City and Municipal Traffic Ordinances, 47 cases of drinking in public places, 45 curfew violations involving minors, 25 cases of smoking in public places, 11 individuals roaming shirtless in public, and one violation of another local ordinance. The enforcement campaign generated a total of ₱225,800.00 in fines and penalties.

BADIAN POLICE ARREST WANTED PERSON IN CHILD PROTECTION CASE

A wanted person facing charges for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 5(b) of Republic Act No. 7610 was arrested by joint operatives of the Badian Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Intelligence Team–Regional Intelligence Unit 7 (PIT-RIU 7) during a warrant operation in Barangay Lambug, Badian, Cebu, on August 5, 2026.

The operation was conducted by the Joint Intelligence/MDEU and Warrant Server Team of Badian Municipal Police Station in coordination with PIT-RIU 7.

The accused was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 98, Barili, Cebu. The court recommended ₱108,000.00 bail for the accused's temporary liberty.

Following his arrest, the accused was informed of the nature of the charges against him, as well as his constitutional rights and the provisions of the Anti-Torture Act, in a language he fully understood. He was subsequently brought to the Badian Municipal Police Station for documentation, temporary detention, and proper disposition pending turnover to the issuing court.

CONSOLACION POLICE APPREHEND CONVICTED DRUG OFFENDER FOR SERVICE OF SENTENCE

The Consolacion Municipal Police Station implemented a warrant of arrest against a convicted drug offender ordered by the court to serve his sentence for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 during an intelligence-driven operation in Barangay Poblacion Occidental, Consolacion, Cebu, on July 30, 2026.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 24, Cebu City, in connection with Violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165. The warrant directed law enforcement authorities to commit the accused for the service of sentence.
