Sa ikatlo at huling bahagi ng "Alamin ang Katawagan sa Agraryo," ating alamin kung sino ang kwalipikadong maging Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB) sa ilalim ng CARP — dapat itong walang sariling lupa, mamamayang Pilipino, nasa wastong gulang, at handa't may kakayahang linangin ang lupa.

Sapagkat layunin ng CARP na maipamahagi ang lupa sa mga tunay na karapat-dapat, upang mabigyan sila ng pagkakataong mapabuti ang kanilang kabuhayan.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Region VII (DAR VII) provided vital agricultural support to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) of the Malbago Farmers Association Inc. (MAFA Inc.) through the turnover of farm machinery and agricultural inputs at Malbago, Daanbantayan, Cebu, on August 27, 2026.

The assistance, provided under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Program (CRFPS) - Major Crop-based Block Farm Productivity Enhancement (MCBFPE), includes a tractor with rotary tiller and disc plow, corn sheller-dehusker, forage chopper or shredder, and fertilizers.

The interventions are not only expected to compliment the association’s existing agricultural activities, it is also intended to improve the efficiency of farm operations, optimize land use, lessen the labor and time required for farm activities, and increase crop productivity.

Led by Leonida C. Epe, the Malbago Farmers Association Inc. is composed of 122 ARBs. Corn is the association's main crop, but its members also cultivate banana, vegetables, and root crops, while engaging in livestock and poultry raising.

Among the officials present during the turnover were DAR Region VII Regional Director Melvin Castor V. Silvestre, Daanbantayan Mayor Atty. Gilbert M. Arrabis Jr., and Malbago Barangay Captain Reynaldo Misa, together with Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Christian Louis G. Luna, OIC-PARPO I Judly O. Li, and other local government executives and employees from the regional and provincial offices of DAR Region VII.

𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗜 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔, 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥

The Department of Agrarian Reform Region VII (DAR VII) strengthened its support for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Ronda, Cebu, through the turnover of a delivery truck to the Malalay Farmers Beneficiaries Organization Inc. (MFBO Inc.), providing the organization with improved logistical capacity to bring its agricultural products to a wider market, on August 26, 2026.

The newly turned-over truck is expected to support MFBO Inc. in transporting its increasing volume of agricultural products and ensuring timely deliveries to buyers. As production expanded, MFBO Inc. actively sought private and institutional buyers to establish stable markets for its products and prevent the wastage of agricultural produce.

Among its identified institutional buyers are the Ronda Countryside Development Cooperative (RCDC), represented by Alfredo Reyes, and A2Z Agrivet, represented by Annie and Elias Yonting during the turnover activity.

Among the DAR VII officials present during the turnover were Regional Director Melvin Castor V. Silvestre, Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II) Christian Louis G. Luna, OIC-PARPO I Judly O. Li, Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Gay Visitacion, and Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Gersyval O. Vestal, alongside other DAR executives and stakeholders.

Sa ikalawang bahagi ng "Alamin ang Katawagan sa Agraryo," ating tunghayan ang paglalakbay ng reporma sa agraryo — mula sa paglikha ng DAR noong 1971 hanggang sa pinakabagong New Agrarian Emancipation Act (RA 11953).

Higit limang dekada nang naglilingkod ang agrarian reform sa mga Pilipino, patuloy na umuunlad, patuloy na nagsisilbi.

𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗬𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗡| Cabalawan Small Farmers Association, Inc. (CASFA, Inc.) President 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱 shared that their lives were very difficult before because they had to use carabaos to till the land.

However, when the Department of Agrarian Reform awarded them a tractor, working in their fields became much easier and faster.

Nawa’y magsilbi siyang inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino na pahalagahan, ipagtanggol, at pangalagaan ang ating demokrasya para sa mga susunod na henerasyon.
