The National Museum of the Philippines announced on January 1, 2025, that it is now open to the public daily from Mondays to Sundays, with free admission at all its locations nationwide.
The announcement was made through the museum’s official page, emphasizing its commitment to universal access by extending operating hours and maintaining free entry. The policy applies to the museum's central complex in Manila and its regional branches across the country.
“By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody,” the museum stated in its post. This move reinforces the National Museum’s mission to bring Philippine history, culture, and art closer to the public.
