The Naval Reserve Center Eastern Visayas through Philippine Marine Corps successfully conducted the Modified Call-to-Arms for CL 10 โBAGANIโ at Brgy. Kawit, Medellin, Cebu, facilitated by the personnel from the Assistant Chief of Marine Staff for RRA, MC9, headed by MAJ MARK JOSEPH M ZUNIEGA PN(M), Chief of Ready Force Development.
The activity was participated in by 48 strong Marine Reservist Personnel from the 82nd Marine Battalion Reserve under the Naval Reserve Center โ Eastern Visayas, who underwent a rigorous five (5) day training designed to instill the core values, discipline, and fighting spirit of a Philippine Marine.
The participants first completed a two (2) day Marine Corps Ethos Lecture, where they were immersed in the traditions, principles, and warrior culture of the Philippine Marine Corps. This was followed by three (3) days of practical exercises, including the challenging 11 station Obstacle Course, testing their physical endurance, mental toughness, teamwork, and determination โ proving the essence that the Marine Emblem is โ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ฅ, ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ฏ.โ
The ceremony was graced by the keynote speaker, MGEN VICENTE MAP BLANCO III PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, represented by COL BELINDA R FERRER-ALONTO PN(M)(GSC), Assistant Chief of Marine Staff for RRA, MC9, who delivered an inspiring message emphasizing honor, courage, patriotism, and the responsibility carried by every Marine Reservist.
As the training culminated in the Pinning Ceremony, the participants proudly received the insignia symbolizing their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to service.
Class 10 โBAGANIโ now stands ready to uphold the proud traditions and warrior spirit of the Philippine Marine Corps in service to God, Country, and People.
