𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗚𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨

The Embassy of Belgium in the Philippines, together with the Honorary Consulate of Belgium in Cebu, hosted a reception on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu to celebrate Belgium's National Day.

The event gathered members of the diplomatic corps, national and local government officials, business leaders, and other distinguished guests in an evening of fellowship and networking, highlighting the strong and enduring friendship between Belgium and the Philippines.

This year's celebration also commemorated 80 years of Philippines-Belgium diplomatic relations under the theme, "Building Bridges for Tomorrow," reflecting the two countries' shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and fostering meaningful partnerships.
Representing Cebu City at the reception was Councilor Nyza Archival of the North District, who joined guests in the diplomatic and social gathering.

The reception provided an opportunity for leaders and stakeholders from various sectors to engage in meaningful conversations, strengthen relationships, and explore future collaborations that contribute to shared growth and mutual understanding.
