The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) warns the public against vishing or voice phishing scams, where fraudsters use phone calls and social engineering tactics to deceive victims into revealing personal information, OTPs, bank details, or sending money.

Red Flags:
β€’ Humihingi ng sensitibong impormasyon
β€’ Nagpapanggap na para sa β€œverification”
β€’ Gumagamit ng pekeng caller ID
β€’ Nananakot o nagpi-pressure
β€’ Nag-uutos ng agarang money transfer
β€’ Nag-aalok ng napakagandang oportunidad

β€œMagduda sa tawag, beripikahin ang impormasyon.”

Huwag agad magtiwala sa mga hindi inaasahang tawag. Protektahan ang iyong personal at pinansyal na impormasyon laban sa mga cybercriminal.

🚨 MAG-INGAT SA PHISHING SCAM 🚨
Mga Scam sa email na nagpapadala ng mapinsalang link

Ang Phishing Scam ay isang uri ng panloloko kung saan nagpapanggap ang scammer na legit na tao, kumpanya, bangko, o website para makuha ang personal mong impormasyon.

Isang click lang sa maling link ay maaaring magbukas ng pinto sa pagnanakaw ng iyong personal na impormasyon, bank details, password, at OTP. Maging mapanuri at huwag basta magtiwala sa mga email, mensahe, o website na kahina-hinala.

βœ… I-check ang sender at website/app
βœ… Huwag ibigay ang OTP at password
βœ… Gumamit ng two-factor authentication (2FA)
