The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), led by PCOL GEORGE V YLANAN, Officer-in-Charge, continues to exemplify professional police service.

PCPT KENTBEL CEASAR V PARCON, OIC of PS12 and PSSg Juniel R Rabago, IOC of PS4 were awarded the “Medalya ng Papuri” by PBGEN REDRICO A MARANAN, Regional Director, PRO7, during the Flag Raising Ceremony at Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr. on February 2, 2026.

The commendation recognizes their professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to duty, following the lawful apprehension of the leader of an unauthorized motorcade rally on January 29, 2026, along J.L. Briones Street, Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City, during the ASEAN Summit 2026—preventing further disturbance and safeguarding public order.

This recognition underscores CCPO’s commitment to the rule of law, public safety, and credible police service.
