As of 8:00 PM today, 20 August 2026, LPA 08f (formerly "NENENG") is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a MEDIUM chance of redeveloping into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, LPA 08h is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a MEDIUM chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Also, a Tropical Storm with international name "SAUDEL" is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Personnel from this station under the direct supervision of PMAJ ARNEL S ANCHETA, OIC PS11 CCPO, provided police visibility, established a Police Assistance Desk and Mobile Patrolling during Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026 to ensure the safety of the student, parents and teachers inside and outside of the school. Said activity ended successfully with no untoward incident happen held at San Nicolas Elementary School, Cebu City

Station personnel led by PMAJ ARNEL ANCHETA, OIC PS11, conducted Pre Deployment Briefing/Guard Mounting and Accounting to Incoming and Outgoing Duty personnel. This aims to enhance public safety and security, to verify their readiness prior deployment as Beat Patrollers and to provide guidance and support of their roles and responsibilities. Further, reiterated to them to always observe “Tamang Bihis”, personal hygiene and grooming while on duty, and remain vigilant at all times.
