CBCP Episcopal Commission on Health Care joins everyone in celebrating WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY and MENTAL HEALTH MONTH October 2024.

The CBCP convened the National Training of Trainers (TOT) on Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) from October 1-5,2024 participated in by 30 Archdiocese/dioceses of the Philippines. This Training aims to build Community-based MHPSS.

This year, the theme focuses on mental health in the workplace, emphasizing that every worker has the right to a safe and healthy work environment. A supportive work environment fosters productivity, joy, and purpose in our daily lives.

Governments, employers, organizations, and other stakeholders must prioritize mental health initiatives to promote well-being and empower workers, especially those with mental health conditions.
