CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 2026 ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP

Through the National Youth Commission Philippines, the Singapore Ministry of Education opened the application for the 2026 ASEAN Scholarship which will provide pre-tertiary study support for students from the Philippines.
The scholarship is open to all Filipino students in Grade 9 and above. It covers four years of study support from junior to senior high school, annual allowance, return economy airfare, school fees, accommodation and settling-in allowance. This programme will empower students to access a world-class and holistic education, giving them exposure to global opportunities. As a fellow ASEAN member country, Singapore is committed to working with the Philippines to nurture and develop the leaders of tomorrow. This programme will forge strong bonds and promote goodwill among our young generation.
Program Overview:
Date: 2026 (Final schedule to be provided by the Ministry of Education โ Singapore)
Location: Singapore
Participants: Approximately 19 Filipino Students, Grade 9 + and higher
Qualifications of Youth Delegates:
โข Filipino citizen currently residing in the Philippines
โข 13-18 years old; Applicants should be enrolled in any Philippine-based school
โข Has a good command of written and spoken English
โข Has a valid passport
โข Must be vaccinated with 1 booster shot
โข Must be able to attend & participate the whole duration of the scholarship program.
Requirements:
Prospective applicants are invited to directly submit their applications online at the Singapore Ministry of Education website at https://go.gov.sg/as-philippines
Expenses:
The Ministry of Education -Singapore will cover four years of study support from Junior to Senior High School, annual allowance, return economy airfare, school fees, accommodation and settling-in allowance.

Successful applicants will take care in securing their respective DSWDโs permit top travel abroad and other related expenses
