8th Signal Battalion Conducts Quarterly Socials in Celebration of 38th Unit Anniversary
CAMP VICENTE LUKBAN, Catbalogan City, Samar – The 8th Signal Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army, conducted its Quarterly Socials as part of its unit anniversary celebration, providing an opportunity for personnel to strengthen camaraderie, recognize accomplishments, and foster unity.
The simple program commenced with an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) showcasing the unit’s significant activities and accomplishments for the month, highlighting the collective efforts of its personnel in fulfilling the unit’s mission and supporting the 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army.
This was followed by the recognition of the Top Three finishers of the Strava Challenge, who received certificates for their dedication and perseverance in maintaining physical fitness. The recognition culminated with the presentation of the Iron Man Award to the participant who demonstrated exceptional endurance and outstanding performance throughout the challenge. The program also included the presentation of Letters of Commendation to personnel who contributed to the successful conduct of activities during the month-long celebration of the 8th Infantry Division’s 38th Founding Anniversary.
The August birthday celebrators were then featured through a dedicated birthday AVP showcasing their edited photographs, followed by the traditional blowing of the birthday cake.
The program concluded with the message of the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Romeo M. Pazziuagan SC (GSC) PA, who expressed his appreciation for the personnel’s dedication and teamwork and encouraged everyone to sustain the spirit of camaraderie, professionalism, and excellence.
The Quarterly Socials highlighted the importance of recognizing achievements and strengthening fellowship among personnel, contributing to a more cohesive and motivated organization.
