A total of 43 SIRAK Coordinators have been deployed across the province to support the monitoring of the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program as it enters its third year of implementation.
The SIRAK Coordinators, who serve as youth movers of the Provincial Youth, Environment and Sports Development Office (PYESDO) and the Provincial Government of Samar, are assigned in various cities and municipalities to observe sessions, document progress, and support coordination on the ground.
Implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program continues to expand its reach in Samar, strengthened through collaboration with Samar State University (SSU) and Northwest Samar State University (NWSSU).
This initiative reinforces Samarโs commitment to collaborative and responsive program delivery, ensuring that all the programs just like the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program continues to effectively reach and support communities.
