PUBLIC SERVICE BEYOND COMFORT
PCOL GLENN OLIVER CINCO, Provincial Director led the personnel of Samar PPO outside the Provincial Headquarters to extend services in a Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) particularly at Brgy. Sta. Cruz and San Isidro in the Municipality of Matuguinao, Samar also areas for the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP).
April 29, 2021 – a memorable day for personnel of Samar PPO as the Provincial Director and his family traveled for almost three (3) hours with the government troops and Local Government Unit, trekked through rocky road and crossed rivers on his 50th Birthday.
Personnel of Samar PPO joined the ceremony on Expansion of Toy Library, simultaneously visited the houses to distribute flyers, while community and group leaders joined PD CINCO and his family in tree planting. Free haircut was also availed from skilled-barber police officers, household heads joined a symposium on fight against criminality and terrorism. These series of activity culminated with gift-giving to household heads allowing them to bring at home 10kls rice, food packs, grocery pack for every household, writing materials for kids and safety health kits.
A day for every police officer to display and enhance interpersonal skills with fellow public servants and community we serve is indeed a thanksgiving for a blissful life that has been celebrated with people who are not reached by many. Hoping to have a special place in the heart of the people we have shared our precious moments with.
