𝑭𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑫𝑨𝑹𝑾𝑰𝑵 𝑫 𝑶𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑶, Caretaker, OPFM Northern Samar, paid a courtesy visit to 𝑯𝑶𝑵. 𝑹𝑬𝑵𝒀 “𝑱𝑰𝑵𝑮” 𝑪𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑺𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑨, Municipal Mayor of Bobon, and 𝑯𝑶𝑵. 𝑪𝑯𝑹𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑨𝑵 𝑳𝑨𝑶, Municipal Vice Mayor of Allen, Northern Samar, today, May 05, 2026.

The visit focused on the shared goal of enhancing fire safety and operational readiness within both municipalities. During the meeting, FSINSP ORSOLINO reassured the local leaders of the BFP’s dedication to providing strengthened fire suppression services and safety enforcement to ensure the well-being of every citizen.

Further, the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal extends its sincere gratitude to the Local Government Units of Bobon and Allen for their unwavering support to the Bureau of Fire Protection. Indeed, Sa Pag Iwas sa Sunog, ‘Di Ka Nag-iisa.

Mapapansin ninyo na kapag may sunog, kadalasang may kasamang ambulansya ang mga fire truck. Hindi ito aksidente, bahagi ito ng maayos na sistema ng emergency response para masigurong ligtas ang lahat.

Hindi lang ari-arian ang naaapektuhan ng sunog. Maaari rin itong magdulot ng seryosong pinsala sa tao. Puwedeng magkaroon ng paso, malanghap ang makapal na usok, mahirapang huminga, o makaranas ng matinding panic. Kapag may ambulansya na agad sa lugar, may nakahandang medical team na tutulong kaagad nang hindi na kailangang maghintay pa.

Panganib din ang kinakaharap ng mga bumbero habang sila ay tumutugon. Kung sakaling may masaktan sa kanila, nandiyan ang mga paramedic para agad makapagbigay ng lunas.

Once it’s safe to move, evacuate carefully and head to an open area away from buildings, power lines, and anything that could fall. Your quick actions can save lives, so stay prepared, stay alert, and look out for one another.

OPFM North Samar Conducts Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, Tabletop Meeting

This International Firefighter's Day, the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal of Northern Samar, led by FSINSP DARWIN D ORSOLINO, REE, Caretaker, OPFM North Samar, held their Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, kickstarting the week with honor and pride.

Afterwards, a meeting was held, focusing on updates from all divisions and other concerns. FSINSP ORSOLINO highlighted, in his message to the troop, the importance of proper reporting and documentation, as well as the passion for service within Northern Samar BFP Personnel.
