𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗞-𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗖 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
The Joint Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) 3rd Quarter Meeting was successfully convened on September 10, 2026 at the Executive Lounge, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, Cataingan, Masbate.
The meeting was presided by Hon. Jeremy Patrick C. Mapula, SK Municipal Federation President and Chairperson of the LYDC.
The SK agenda included the discussion on the SK Full Public Disclosure Policy: Posting of SK Related Documents in the (SKFPD) Policy Board, by LGOO Jesusa N. Margallo, MLGOO. Followed by the Orientation on New DILG Masbate Electronic SK Full Public Disclosure Policy Reporting and Compliance Monitoring System, by Ms. Gladys Alcaraz, DlLG Cataingan Support Staff. Also discussed was the SK Web Portal by Hon. Joram Stewart P. Caballas, SK Chairperson of Barangay Pawican. Other compliance monitoring such as SK Inventory Team (SKIT) and separation of account are highlighted.
For the LYDC, Ms. Melanie C. Menchavez, Youth Development Officer III, presented the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) accomplishments and provided updates on the 3rd Quarter Projects, Programs, and Activities (PPAs). Other youth concerns, advocacy, and proposals for impactful youth-led programs for the remaining quarter were encouraged.
Atty. Felimon R. Majuca III, Municipal Administrator delivered his closing remarks on behalf of Municipal Mayor, Hon. Alvin C. Adoptante, reminding the young leaders to continue serving with discipline, humility, integrity, and purpose.
The meeting concluded with a photo opportunity with all SK Chairpersons, LYDC Members, Municipal Officials, and Youth Volunteers.
