🌊 Week 37: Kalinisan sa Dalampasigan | 2024 International Coastal Clean-Up🌊

On the morning of September 21, 2024, at 6:00 AM, we gathered at Dangkalan Beach in Calangcuasan, Casiguran, Aurora, as part of the 2024 International Coastal Clean-Up. With the ocean before us and a mission in mind, we united to clean our shores and protect our environment.

A strong force of 23 participants from Brgy. 03, including Barangay Officials, BHW, DCW, BPW, SK members, and BPSO, teamed up with 18 participants from Brgy. Calangcuasan, led by their Punong Barangay, Hon. Leanilo A. Maaliw, and PMAJ Dennise R. Balbuena, our Chief of Police. Together, we removed 48 kgs of waste—an important reminder of the urgent need to take action against pollution.

🌍This is more than just a clean-up—this is a movement. Every piece of trash collected means a safer environment for our coastlines and marine life. The oceans don’t just belong to us; they belong to future generations. With every step, every piece of litter removed, we are creating a legacy of responsibility, sustainability, and care for our planet.

Let's keep pushing forward, not just for today but for every tomorrow. Together, we can protect the beauty of our shores and the health of our seas.

Huling namataan ang sentro ng Bagyong Gener sa layong 325 km east northeast ng Casiguran, Aurora, ayon sa 11 a.m. bulletin ng PAGASA.

Ang bagyo ay posibleng mag-landfall sa loob ng susunod na 24 oras sa bahagi ng Isabela o Aurora.

Hinihikayat po namin ang lahat ng residente ng Barangay 03 na manatiling alerto, maghanda, at sumunod sa mga anunsyo at babala ng mga kinauukulan.

Patuloy pong mag-monitor sa ating barangay page para sa mga karagdagang updates. Alamin ang inyong mga evacuation plans at manatiling ligtas.

UPDATE: Huling namataan ang sentro ng Bagyong sa layong 325 km east northeast ng Casiguran, Aurora, base sa 11 a.m. bulletin ng PAGASA.

🌟 Week 36 Kalinisan Day: Together for a Cleaner Tomorrow 🌟

On September 12, 2024, we tackled the challenge of cleaning up our surroundings at the Barangay Hall and the extension of Jose Angara St. With 19 dedicated participants, including BHW, Barangay Tanod, SK Chairman and his team, and Barangay Officials, we collected an impressive 85 kgs of waste—primarily dried leaves and wood.

🌱 Every piece of waste removed is a step towards a healthier environment. Our collective effort shines as a beacon of community spirit and resilience.

🌧️ **Rain or Shine, We Stay Committed!** 🌧️

On September 12, 2024, despite the heavy downpour, our dedication never wavered.

Together with Ma'am Aimee Lorraine Balbero and Ma'am Maricel Deleon from MENRO and our Barangay Officials, we conducted an essential assessment of waste segregation across 10 establishments in Brgy. 03 Casiguran Aurora.

Alongside, we executed our monthly BaRCO road clearing and distributed IEC materials on zero waste and proper segregation.

"Heartfelt thanks, to MENRO Casiguran Aurora, especially to Sir Jestone Bitong, for so generously providing an innovative 20 Waste less Chair made of recycled materials here at Barangay Hall, Brgy. 03, Casiguran, Aurora. This eco-friendly chair is a fine example of turning waste into something useful as it's made from plastic wrappers cut into small pieces and packed into 1.5L bottles to form a sturdy, functional chair.

Your dedication to advocating for sustainability and environmental awareness within the community is truly commendable. This project helps not only in managing the wastes but also in keeping in our minds that each one of us can do something to help in saving our environment. Thank you very much for your open support to help Barangay 03 become a much cleaner and greener place. 🌍💚

🌪️ 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟑𝟓 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 & 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐠🌪️

On September 3, 2024, we faced the devastation left by Typhoon Enteng, with strong winds toppling trees and scattering leaves everywhere. But our community didn’t back down.

Together, we cleared roads and restored order in Jose Angara St., Gomez St., Burgos St., Calderon St., Zamora St., the extension of Jose Angara St., and the Brgy Hall of Brgy 03, Casiguran, Aurora.

With 22 committed participants, including our BHW, Barangay Officials, and 4 residents, we collected a massive 386 kgs of waste—fallen trees, plastic, bottled water, and countless leaves that cluttered our streets.

🌳 In the face of storms, we rise stronger. Every fallen tree we clear is a symbol of our resilience. Let’s continue to stand together, rebuild, and keep our community thriving. 💪

🌱 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯𝟰 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆: 𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲! 🌱

On August 29, 2024, we took action once again, starting from the corner of Alhambra St. and Jose Angara St., extending all the way to the Barangay Hall.

With 13 dedicated participants from our BHW and Barangay Officials, we collected a remarkable 83 kgs of waste—including dried leaves, plastic bottles, and even pieces of wood.
