The Casiguran National High School successfully conducted the Summer ARAL Program Orientation on May 5, 2026 at the CNHS Covered Court, formally setting the direction of the program that aims to strengthen learners’ academic performance and provide targeted learning interventions.

The program was spearheaded by the School Head Teacher for Academics, Dr. Yolanda M. Gata, together with Mr. Lucio M. Lota, Head Teacher for TLE/TVE, and Mr. Rex A. Delos Santos, OIC Head Teacher for Araling Panlipunan. The activity was facilitated by Mr. Noel E. Corbadura, who ensured the smooth flow of the entire orientation program.

The orientation began with the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Mr. Eumer V. Santor, followed by an opening prayer led by Ms. May V. Olaguer. This was succeeded by the welcome remarks of Mr. Lucio M. Lota, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in the implementation of the ARAL Program.

Subsequently, Dr. Yolanda M. Gata discussed the DepEd memoranda and key guidelines of the ARAL Program, highlighting its objectives and significance in addressing learning gaps. This was followed by an insightful discussion on the roles of parents and the community, presented by Mr. Eumer V. Santor and Mrs. Annaliza T. Delos Santos, stressing the vital role of stakeholder participation in learner development.

An open forum was then facilitated by Mr. Noel E. Corbadura, where concerns and clarifications were addressed to ensure a shared understanding of the program. Finally, the orientation concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Mr. Rex A. Delos Santos, who underscored the collective commitment of CNHS to support learner success through the ARAL Program.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our School Administrative Aide VI / Disbursing Officer, Mr. Leonardo A. Sardual.

Mr. Sardual was a dedicated public servant whose commitment, integrity, and quiet service have greatly contributed to the smooth operation of our school.

He is remembered not only for his service, but also for his humility, kindness, and willingness to extend help and support to everyone around him.

His presence will be greatly missed by the entire school community. His legacy of service and kindness will remain in our hearts and memories.

In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved family and loved ones. May they find comfort and strength in the love and support of those around them.
