On May 26, 2026. Carmona City Jail conducted a Firearm Proficiency Activity aimed at enhancing the marksmanship skills, firearm handling, and operational readiness of all participating personnel. The activity formally commenced with an opening prayer seeking guidance and safety for the successful conduct of the activity.

Thereafter, the assigned BJMP personnel Firearm Instructor and Range Officer provided comprehensive instructions and safety reminders regarding the proper handling, loading and unloading procedures, range discipline, and the observance of standard firearm safety protocols. Participants were likewise oriented on the mechanics of the activity, proper shooting positions, target engagement, and the importance of responsible firearm use in the performance of duty.

The activity was conducted in an orderly and systematic manner, ensuring the safety of all personnel while promoting professionalism, discipline, and competence in firearm operation.

Ito ay kasabay ng opisyal na paglunsad ng Small Arms and Light Weapons Management Program — proyekto ng lokal na pamahalaan, OPAPRU at 57th Infantry Battalion — na nagpapatunay ng lumalaking tiwala, pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ng mamamayan at mga awtoridad para sa kaayusan sa komunidad.

Carmona City Jail successfully conducted the Summer League Basketball Tournament 2026 Awarding Ceremony and distribution of food packs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). The activity served as a culminating program recognizing the sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and active participation of the PDL throughout the tournament. During the awarding ceremony, winning teams and outstanding players were formally recognized for their achievements and exemplary performance.
