Municipality Wide Youth Summit and KK Assembly 2025 ✨

Usa ka makapa-inspire nga kalihukan ang gihimo sa atong munisipyo—ang Youth Summit ug KK Assembly, adlaw Marso 22, 2025, nga adunay temang: "Nagkahiusang Kabatan-onan: MAGHIMO, MAPALAMBO, MAGMALAMPUSON!" nga nagtuyo sa paghatag og plataporma sa mga kabatan-onan aron magpulong, maghisgot, ug magtinabangay sa paglambo sa atong komunidad.

Gikan sa mga aktibidad nga nagtudlo sa liderato, civic engagement, ug social responsibility, nakahatag kini og dakong oportunidad sa mga kabatan-onan aron magpahiwatig sa ilang mga opinyon ug mag-ambit sa mga ideya para sa kalamboan sa ilang lugar. Lukop niini ang maong nakat-onan na gipatukar sa maong aktibidad:

✅III Effects of Illegal Drugs (PDEA) – Addressing the dangers and consequences of drug abuse.
✅Salient Points of Cyber Crime (PNP Carmen) – Raising awareness on cyber threats and online safety.
✅PILI: Pinas 2025! Tamang Pagboto (Election Infodrive Campaign) (COMELEC) – Educating the youth on their voting rights and responsibilities.
✅PESLA Orientation (PESO) – Providing information on employment opportunities and labor programs.
✅Pag-asa Youth of the Philippines (PYAP) Program (MSWDO) – Empowering out-of-school youth through various initiatives.
✅Born to be Known: Importance of Birth Certificate (MCR) – Highlighting the significance of civil registration and legal identity.
✅HIV Testing (MHO) – Encouraging youth to prioritize their health through voluntary testing and awareness.

Dako ang papel nga ginadala sa mga kabatan-onan sa pag-uswag sa atong nasud, ug pinaagi sa mga kalihukan sama niini, mas napalambo nato ang ilang mga kahimtang ug oportunidad alang sa mas maayong kaugmaon.

Mapasalamaton usab kami sa nagpaluyo aning aktibidad, gipangunahan sa Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Carmen, led by Hon. Ernan John Torralba Inso, in collaboration with the Local Youth Development Office - LGU Carmen (LYDO) under Mr. Marnie D. Cabahug (LYDO Designate). The event served as a platform to equip young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities necessary to shape a progressive and engaged community.

Distinguished Guests and Keynote Speakers

The summit was graced by esteemed leaders, halandong Mayor, Hon. Leony Bahague, Hon. Paul Christian Abenoja (District 1 Coordinator, ALDU Youth Movement), and Hon. Flopone Royle 'Popop'Catalan (Senior Board Member, District II), who all expressed their unwavering support for the youth of Carmen.
