UPDATE | Subdivision Survey Accomplishment (SPLIT Project)

The DAR Provincial Office - North Cotabato LTID Survey Team, in coordination with DARMO Carmen Personnel, successfully conducted subdivision survey activities covering the landholding of Malaguia Maludtem et al., located in Barangay Malapag, Carmen, Cotabato, with a total area of 1,004.4738 hectares.

This activity is part of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project, a major program designed to subdivide collectively owned land titles into individual land titles for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs). Through parcelization, validation, and proper documentation, the project ensures secure land ownership and strengthens land tenure security for farmer-beneficiaries.

The SPLIT Project supports land tenure improvement by providing farmers with clear legal ownership of their land, improving access to credit opportunities, and encouraging long-term agricultural productivity and economic growth. It also promotes social justice by empowering ARBs with full control over their land and a more secure future.

This accomplishment was made possible through the strong cooperation and assistance of the top management of DAR North Cotabato, the Local Government Unit of Carmen, the Barangay Local Government Unit of Malapag, together with Barangay officials, Sitio Leaders, Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives (IPMRs), and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs). Their active participation greatly helped in accurate boundary identification, land validation, and the successful completion of reliable survey outputs on the ground.

With the successful completion of the subdivision survey, this marks another significant step toward advancing agrarian reform, strengthening rural development, and building a more sustainable future for farming communities.
