๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ โ Major General Marion T. Angcao, Commander of the 4th Infantry Division, visited the Headquarters of the 36th Infantry Battalion (36IB), led by Lieutenant Colonel Joselito B. Ante Jr., at Brgy. Puyat, Carmen, Surigao del Sur, on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
The visit underscored the Philippine Army leadershipโs continued commitment to strengthening operational readiness, sustaining peace initiatives, and boosting troop morale throughout the CARAGA Region.
To commemorate the occasion and Major General Angcaoโs first visit to the battalion, a tree-planting activity was conducted within the headquarters premises. The activity symbolized the Commanding Generalโs support and contribution to the successful transfer of the 36IB to its current headquarters.
In his message to the troops, Major General Angcao emphasized the importance of discipline, preparedness, and strong collaboration with local government units in maintaining peace and security across the region.
MGEN ANGCAO also imparted his command guidance following the acronym DIAMOND:

He likewise commended the soldiers for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to duty, reminding them to remain steadfast in their mission of protecting the people and preserving peace and development in the CARAGA Region.
The visit reaffirmed the Philippine Armyโs commitment to professional military service, strengthened community partnerships, and the pursuit of lasting peace and sustainable development in Mindanao.
