๐—ข๐—ป ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ, the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Women and Children Protection Center Team conducted an onsite visit to the TELEWCPU of Carmen located at the temporary office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Carmen.

The TELEWCPU, which has been operating since 2022, continues to be a great help to our clients and victim-survivors by providing accessible teleconsultation services with psychologists, social workers, doctors, and other professionals.

Through this program, residents of Carmen, as well as clients from neighboring municipalities, are given easier access to professional support, guidance, and protection services without the need to travel far.

The Municipality of Carmen remains grateful for this meaningful partnership and committed to strengthening services that promote healing, protection, and hope for every client we serve. ๐Ÿ’™

Saulog sa Carmen 2026: Sama-samang Pagdiriwang ng Pag-asa at Pagbabago โœจ

Today, we celebrate the journey, resilience, and success of our graduating 4Ps beneficiaries as they officially exit the program and move forward towards greater opportunities and self-sufficiency.

Ang โ€œSAULOGโ€ dili lamang simpleng graduation, kundili usa ka selebrasyon sa kalig-on sa matag pamilya nga niagi sa mga hagit sa kinabuhi ug nagpadayon nga maningkamot alang sa mas maayong kaugmaon.

Through the years, these families have shown commitment in promoting education, health, responsible parenthood, and active community participation. Karong adlawa, ato silang giila ug gidayeg tungod sa ilang paningkamot ug kalampusan.

Padayon sa paglambo, padayon sa pagdamgo, ug padayon sa pagbarug isip inspirasyon sa komunidad. Congratulations to all our SAULOG sa Carmen 2026 graduates!

Today marks a meaningful milestone for our Child Development Workers and Supervised Neighborhood Play, as Cebu Technological University (CTU) Carmen Extension Program, successfully launched Phase 2 of the SALIDA (Sequential Animated Learning Instructional Delivery Activities) Program held on May 16, 2026, at the CTU Carmen Research and Development Building.

This initiative is dedicated and participated by our Child Development Workers (CDW) and Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) in our municipality, who continue to show dedication in learning and improving their skills.

The program proponent is led by Dr. Ana Aubrey J. Porlas, whose commitment has been instrumental in making this extension initiative possible.

A heartfelt gratitude is extended to all our CDW's/SNP's for their continuous effort, eagerness to learn, and commitment to personal and professional growth.

We sincerely thank everyone involved for supporting this endeavor and for helping strengthen community-based education in Carmen through the SALIDA program. May this initiative continue to inspire lifelong learning and empowerment for all participants moving forward.

Yesterday, May 13, 2026, a Peer Facilitator Training and Planning Workshop for the Local Development Plan for Children was successfully conducted at Marick Beach Resort.

Barangay Child Representatives, Youth Leaders, and Youth Volunteers came together to strengthen their capacity as peer facilitators and actively take part in planning programs that will shape a better, safer, and more child-friendly community.
